Il est un m\u00e9decin interne certifi\u00e9 FRCPC qui fournit des soins hospitaliers et ambulatoires \u00e0 St. John\u2019s. Ses int\u00e9r\u00eats sp\u00e9ciaux incluent la m\u00e9decine du VIH. Il est actuellement le chef du programme contre le VIH de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador. Le docteur Morkar a \u00e9galement un int\u00e9r\u00eat tout particulier pour les maladies m\u00e9taboliques du foie.<\/p>\n<p>Le docteur Morkar est un professeur agr\u00e9g\u00e9 \u00e0 la facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine de la <em>Memorial University<\/em>. Il est activement impliqu\u00e9 dans l\u2019enseignement de premier cycle et postdoctoral et a re\u00e7u plusieurs prix \u00e0 ces deux niveaux. Le docteur Morkar a occup\u00e9 plusieurs postes de leadership incluant la chaire universitaire du d\u00e9partement de m\u00e9decine.
