Monique Williams is a 2nd-year medical student at the Cumming School of Medicine in Calgary, Alberta. She is a Canadian Armed Forces member and is enrolled under the MMTP education stream. She has been a member of the CAF for 25 years and started her medical journey as a Medical Technician before training as a Physician Assistant and deciding to pursue advanced education as a physician. She has served on multiple boards and committees at both the provincial and federal levels. She is passionate about her advocacy work in patient safety and with vulnerable populations. She feels that she can support the CaRMS organization with her diverse experience in policy creation and implementation.
